The team at Phoenix Education Consultancy have worked in a whole variety of roles, bringing a complex strategic and practical understanding to the work we do. Some of the roles we have stepped into include Head of education within psychiatric in-patient services, London Local Authority lead for behaviour and inclusion, head of county-wide alternative provision ensuring LA fulfil statutory obligation to meet the needs of pupils with medical needs, project management for Alternative Provision Innovation Fund grant with national implementation, direction of inclusion for four form entry primary school including specialist resource provision for pupils with speech, communication and language needs.
Although Phoenix Education Consultancy is a relatively new business, our team have previously worked for clients including: London Borough of Redbridge, Kent County Council, NACRO, NoIsolation, Nottingham Home and Hospital Education, Inclusion Expert consultancy, Westminster Insight, Celsian Education
As a team, we strive to transform the education of every child we work with and ultimately hope to set a new standard for every child in the country and beyond. Some of our achievements to date include: School improvement of care home education service, evaluated as ‘requires improvement’ by end of tenure, with significant support and input, judged as good in all areas of OFSTED inspection framework.
Development of LA behaviour and inclusion including commissioning of alternative provision service for pupils with mental health issues. Successfully managing Alternative Provision Innovation project funding by the DfE, including ensuring project is delivered on target within clear timescales supporting GOSH school, Leicester Hospital, Manchester Hospital amongst others in developing tele-presence communication tools to support reintegration for pupils undertaking medical treatment or in recovery.
